Change....

Thanks Lindsay and Beth for telling me my site didn't work , I think I've finally figured it out now .

Its funny...I was going over all my profile stats today...and its almost scary how much my ideas and perceptions have changed in the past year.  I feel like I have really grown spiritually and mentally as an individual which is wonderful since often it feels like spiritually I am not progressing.  Does anyone else ever feel like their flesh is always getting in the way of their spiritual goals? I do...which is why it was so wonderful to realize from just reading some profile questions that I have actually achieved some minor goals in the past year!!  It is very uplifting and just proves that all the trials that we are put through are actually working to shape and mold us to His character.  Awesome!  I had to change almost every part of my profile because it had absolutely nothing to do with what I like or care about any more for the most part. 

Has anyone found that they have achieved some spiritual personal goals in the past year? It's a great time to get ready to re-evaluate things seeing as the new year is upon us in a couple months, and I really think that we should be making goals every day not just in January!  I'd love to hear from everyone!

Halp!!

So I created a new skin for my site using the new skin creator!

It looks awesome but it seems to be jumping back and forth from the old old look to the new one.  What kind of image is everyone getting at the top? Can they see the feets with the grey background?!  I feel very stupid and blond asking this haha :x and I'm not even blond!!!!

Also...I guess I should update by saying...school is going great, Marcus is growing so big and getting to be so silly and crazy and fun :D  We just got back from Ontario for Danielle and John's wedding which was a blast and also a HURRICANE of a visit...!

Presently we are renovating the upstairs kitchen/living room/hallway area.  We are COMPLETELY gutting it including some walls so it is CRAZY messy and insane around here!  Its getting a lot better as the old yucky junk is being removed but I must say it is shocking to see what was underneath all the "cosmetic" aspects of the kitchen and flooring.  The "guts" of it were horrible in my opinion!!! We even found waaaaaaaay underneath the cabinets that it was all rotted out (unbenownst to us) and that there was onions....yes onions...from the previous owner.. ewwww grosss!  We've pretty much got all our cabinets and new appliances ordered....and we're in the process of ordering flooring, lights and countertops.  Wow it is crazy buisy but kinda fun too!  I will probably post pictures of before and after at some point

Other than that I'm really looking forward to December and gatherings and snow and suchlike :D

Anyhow, just got back from Ontario and Ohio trip, was exccccelllent! See facebook for some pictures of Nathan and Melissa's wedding, (yes I'm lazy) and I don't have any myself yet  haha

Their wedding was beautiful, we had a blast hanging out with everyone as well (before and after the wedding)

Cedar point was fantastic, Marcus was completely exhausted the whole time as was Chris and I but we enjoyed it anyways

Kalahari was a resort we stayed at while we were there, basically a huuuuuge water park, it was tons of fun for Marcus, splashing about all day and stuff ^.~

Now we're back home with horrible colds and coughs to boot, I think we picked it up from the water in the park (ewwwwwww gross) lol

Calgary!

Wellll

Just got back from Calgary and staying with Cheryl there! Joel and I went with mom and dad for my dad's sisters funeral.

I always find it so wierd cause I spent about eight months of my life there.  They were crazy and wacked out months, but I must say...I loved the ecclesia and the people :)  It is always like that whenever I go back, everyone is so friendly and nice.  Thanks to Cheryl for letting us invade her home and to Alex for his amazing dinner! <3 you all :)

I inevitably spent way too much on shopping however (bleh )...lol.  We went to the Imax which was pretty great, and also out for dinner at Smugglers Inn.  I'd forgotten how much I love that place, its so dark and pretty with long hallways and big chairs and fires in odd little corners.  And they have amazing food!

Anyways it was really nice to spend some time with family and ecclesial family.  The hot springs on the way back was pretty awesome too

So I think I've been bored of Xanga for some time now!
